Hälsingland is a landscape in Sweden located north of Stockholm and south of Sundsvall, the two major cities on Swedish east coast. Hälsingland is not a province but a region (landskap) that is of historical value and is located in the province of Gävleborgs län. Hälsingland is best known for the beautifully decorated houses that are on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
